Quarterly Coat of Arms, 1st Arms of the – chequered field in silver and blue, with six patterned pieces, having a column in the middle (alluding to the lineage of the Colona de Roma); 2nd Arms of the Paes – In blue, with nine tinctures of veiled gold in red, pointed and signed on the edges of the shield; 3rd Arms of the Amaral (in inverted colors) – In blue, with six tinctures of gold; and in the 4th Arms of the (Almeida) – In Red, with a double-cross, in gold, and curbstone in gold; and (Barberino) – In blue, with three gold bees. Coat of arms topped with a Crown of Count, having a gold lion as the crest, armed and langued in red, holding a silver halberd with a blue shaft (crest of the Amaral Family).
